  • A deep-bodied seawater game fish, Centropistes striatus, also caught commercially. It has a grey to black upper skin surmounted by a very sharp fin and weighs between 0.5 and 2 kg. It has firm white flesh and may be cooked in any way. Found in deep water off the eastern coast of the USA.
