  • adjective unfashionable, uncool. A teenage vogue word from 1987 which is a deliberate shifting of the standard sense of bunk and bunkum (as signifying nonsense). It was still in use in 2005.
  • verb to cheat. A verb formed from the colloquial nouns bunk and bunkum and the slang term bunco.
