corporate yield

  • The returns or dividends from a corporate bond. These yields tend to fluctuate in relation to interest rates for borrowing (low interest rates are usually linked to lower yields). A country offering a high yield on corporate bonds tends to attract foreign investors and experiences an increase in the value of its currency as a result. These shifts in currency pricing in turn, affect the Forex market. Forex investors may watch the corporate yield curve to predict upcoming changes in the bond markets.
