  • A yeasted flour liquid batter (3:4) made with equal parts of milk and water and a little oil, allowed to froth, baking powder added at the rate of 5 g per kg of flour, left 40 minutes to rest then cooked in rings on a greased griddle to form small, circular, flat buns with a honeycombed top surface. Usually served toasted with butter.
