- noun a dividend calculated as a percentage of the current price of a share on the stock market
Forex
- The current rate of interest adjusted for the current price of a bond. The current yield is calculated by dividing the actual amount of the interest payment received by the current price of the bond. The interest payment on a bond is fixed, so if the price of a bond increased, the current yield of the bond will decrease.
