Economic Appraisal

Health Economics

  • A general term for the economic evaluation of options. This can be done from a variety of perspectives (social, those of different stakeholders). Some use the term to describe the evaluation of evaluative research studies (for their reliability, generalizability, etc.), as in a systematic review of evaluative studies. A gentle introduction is Fox-Rushby and Cairns (2005).
