  • A substantial meal of fruit juice, fruit and/or cereals followed by a selection of bacon, sausages, kidneys, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and bread, all grilled or fried, or kedgeree or kippers followed by toast, butter, jam and/or marmalade and tea or coffee. Often called Scottish breakfast and Irish breakfast but never British breakfast.
