Health Economics

  • An agency of the European Union with headquarters in London under the European Commission. It evaluates and supervises medicines for human and veterinary use and authorizes their marketing, an authorization that applies in all countries of the community and also Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. All medicinal products for human and animal use derived from biotechnology and other high-technology processes must be approved by the EMEA.
