  • Under EU rules, packaged food must be labelled with the name, the list of ingredients in descending order of weight, the net quantity, a best-before or best-before-end date, special conditions of storage or use, the name and address of the packager or seller and, under certain conditions, the particulars of the place of origin. The location of the factory or packaging centre is required in some countries.
