  • A medieval pudding made from frumenty wheat boiled with milk and presoftened dried vine fruits, thickened if necessary with flour, sweetened and spiced with cinnamon, allspice or nutmeg. Traditionally eaten at Christmas, Easter and in Lent. Served with butter, cream or rum.
