Health Economics

  • A World Health Organization inspired approach to health service planning through which any policy, programme or project is judged in terms of its potential effects on the health of a population, the distribution of the health effects across the population, and the steps that could be taken to enhance desired and reduce undesired consequences. Health economics may or may not come into the analysis.
