hebe

Definition

Slang

  • noun a Jew. Based on the word Hebrew, these words originated in the USA. They have been heard in Britain and Australia since the early 1970s, sometimes jocularly lengthened to ‘heebie-jeebies’. Hebe is less offensive than yid, kike, etc., but discriminatory nonetheless.
