  • In TV, a band which extends from 174 to 216 MHz, corresponding to the VHF channels of 7 to 13.
  • In communications utilizing one band of frequencies for transmission one direction, and another band for the other, the upper band. The other band, using lower frequencies, is called low band (2).
  • In communications utilizing multiple frequency bands, the highest band, or a band higher than another given band.
