  • A type of haggis from the southwest made with finely chopped pigs’ pluck or fatty pig meat for the more expensive versions, mixed with boiled groats, seasoning and flavourings, packed into wide hog casings and boiled until cooked. The Devonshire variety is flavoured with mace, nutmeg, thyme and cayenne pepper, the Cornish one with mace, nutmeg, parsley and thyme.
