K display

  • In radars, a modified A display, in which the scanned object appears as two vertical deflections in the horizontal plane, instead of one. When the radar antenna is pointed directly at the scanned object, both blips are of the same height, while any difference in their heights indicates the direction and magnitude of the error. Also called K scan, K scanner, K scope, or K indicator.
