  • A half hardy shrub, Aloysia triphylla, with pointed crinkly leaves which have a sharp lemony fragrance. The chopped young leaves can be used to flavour desserts, cakes, ice cream and the fresh or dried leaves are used in white meat and fish dishes. Can be used as a substitute for lemon grass.
