M3 money supply



  • A monetary aggregate of an economy's money supply, which includes both aggregates M1 and M2. The U.S. Federal Reserve includes institutional money market funds, large time deposits, deposits in non-bank financial institutions such as savings and loans, Eurodollars and repurchase agreements in the M3 component. The ECB M3 includes repurchase agreements, money market funds and debt instruments maturing within 2 years.
