  • Highly purified oils derived from crude oils with high boiling points and usually colourless and transparent. Technical white oils come in a range of viscosities. The highest-viscosity oil is called liquid paraffin. Once used as fat or oil substitutes in slimming foods since they are not metabolized. Used as release agents to prevent dried vine fruits sticking together.
