  • an appellation in the Bergerac region of southwestern France that grows mostly Sémillon, Muscadelle, and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties that are infected with Botrytis cinerea to produce medium sweet and sweet wines. Lower-quality wines from this region are often labelled with the more generic Côtes de Bergerac AOC.
