  • Computing which makes extensive use of, or totally depends on a communications network. Such computing usually consists of a group, often very large, of network computers whose processing, applications, and storage are provided by one or more network servers. The benefits of such an arrangement include the need to only install or upgrade software in one, or a few computers, along with centralized administration. Its abbreviation is NCC.
