  • noun a group of miscellaneous items for sale at an auction
  • noun a group of less than 100 shares of stock bought or sold together

Forex

  • A quantity of a security, usually a stock, that falls below that security's normal trading unit size and for which brokers might assess higher commissions. A stock market odd lot would typically have a size below 100 shares of an actively traded stock or below 10 shares of a rarely traded stock. also called a broken lot or uneven lot.
