one-pipe system

Definitions

Construction

  • In drainage systems, two vertical pipes with waste and soil water flowing down the same pipe and all branches connected to the same anti-siphon pipe.
  • A heating circuit in which all the flow and return connections to the radiators come from the same pipe. The radiator at the far end is therefore much cooler than the radiator that is nearest the heat source.
