    The absence of a direct connection between two points in an electrical network.

Electronics

  • A circuit which is broken, or which otherwise does not have a complete and uninterrupted path for the flow of current. Also called incomplete circuit, or discontinuous circuit.

  • A circuit utilized under no-load conditions.
