Pont l’Evêque



  • masculine A soft orange-coloured cows’ milk cheese from Normandy, made in a square about 10 cm on the side and 4 cm deep with a thick brown rind mottled with thin smears of mould. The paste contains a few round holes and has a strong smell and a less strong taste. It has AOC status. Contains 47 per cent water, 27 per cent fat and 20 per cent protein.
