- A type of antenna, usually used to receive TV broadcasts when there is no cable or satellite, consisting of two rods which can be positioned as desired. The rods are usually telescopic, and when seeking to optimize reception they must be repositioned in a manner similar to the way rabbits locate sounds by twisting and directing their ears. Also called rabbit-ear antenna.
