  • Subsequent radiation of RF energy which has been received from an incident wave. The energy which is subsequently radiated may or may not of the same frequency or interval of frequencies. Used, for instance, for capturing a satellite signal and radiating the obtained data to multiple receivers.
  • Undesired re-radiation (1). This may produce interference.
  • The radiating of a surface, body, or region, which has already been radiated upon.
