Definition

Wine

  • a white wine grape variety that is grown around the world, most notably in the Bordeaux region of France, in Chile, in South Africa and in Australia. It is most often used in blends with Sauvignon Blanc grapes, deriving complexity and depth from the two complementary grapes and providing wines that range in style from the full-bodied dry white wines of the Hunter Valley to sweet white wines from Sauternes.
