  • A mixture of white beans, soaked and cooked until tender, and cassava leaves, which have been crushed in a pestle and mortar and simmered in water with sautéed onions for 1 to 2 hours. The mixture is simmered with salt in a large pot for a further 15 minutes and is eaten with any staple carbohydrate source.
