  • Dumplings made from won ton wrappers filled with a paste made from lean pork and prawn meat, chopped water chestnuts, reconstituted black mushrooms, spring onions, fresh ginger, salt, sugar and soya sauce. The wrappers are circular and made into a cup shape as they are filled, left open at the top, sprinkled with grated carrots and the dumplings placed in an oiled steamer basket and steamed for 12 minutes.
