The occupational categorization since 2001 has been as follows: 1.1 Large employers and higher managerial, 1.2 Higher professional, 2 Lower managerial and professional, 3 Intermediate, 4 Small employers and own-account workers, 5 Lower supervisory and technical, 6 Semi-routine, 7 Routine and 8 Never worked and long-term unemployed.
