Construction

  • Brick produced by molding, often by hand, relatively wet clay (20% to 30% moisture). When the inside of the mold is sanded to prevent sticking of the clay, the product is sand-struck brick. When the molds are wetted to prevent sticking, the product is water-struck brick.
