  • The component of a ground wave that travels along the surface of the earth between a transmitter and receiver. The space wave component travels through space between a transmitter and receiver, and incorporates both direct waves and ground-reflected waves.
  • A wave, such as a surface acoustic wave or a ground wave, which travels along the surface of a plate, crystal, the ground, an interface between dissimilar materials, and so on.
