- A hardy perennial and very invasive herb, Tanacetum vulgare, with green leaves and yellow flowers and a very strong flavour. Used by the Victorians for flavouring baked goods, sausages, stuffings and some desserts.
- A soufflé omelette mixture with fried tart fruit originally flavoured with tansy, nowadays with cloves and cinnamon
