Teviotdale pie



  • Minced beef or lamb browned in butter for 5 minutes then simmered in a little water with seasoning for about 10 minutes, put in a pie dish which is then topped with a batter made from flour, milk, suet and egg (6:5:3:2) with a dsp of baking powder per kg of flour and all baked at 180°C for 40 minutes.
