- A circuit or device which serves to triple a value, such as that of a current, frequency, or voltage.
- A circuit or device whose output frequency is triple that of its input frequency. May consist, for instance, of a stage whose resonant output circuit is tuned to the third harmonic of the input frequency. Also called frequency tripler.
- A rectifier circuit whose output DC voltage is about three times the peak value of its input AC voltage. Also called voltage tripler.
