- Two single, insulated wires that have been twisted together to reduce the likelihood of interference to and from other wire pairs.
- A transmission line consisting of one or more pairs of similar conductors which are insulated from each other, and twisted or braided together. Used, for instance, for telephone communications. When multiple pairs are used together, they are usually color-coded. Its abbreviation is TP. Also called twisted-pair cable, or twisted-pair wire.
