  • Abbreviation of Video graphics array, or Video Graphics adapter. A video display standard which provided enhancements over EGA, but which has been superseded by SVGA. VGA can have a resolutions of up to 640 × 480 pixels supporting 16 colors, or 320 × 200 with 256 colors.
