Construction

  • A manufactured sheet material used to cover large areas. Wallboards are made from many items, including wood fibers and gypsum. In North America, the most common is Sheetrock®, a gypsum-based panel bound by sheets of heavy paper. It is used to cover interior walls and ceilings in place of wet plaster.
