Construction

  • In computer-aided design, the representation of an object in either a two-dimensional or three-dimensional form, using lines, circles, arcs, and other similar entities to create an outline of the part.

Electronics

  • Modeling, such as that utilized in CAD, in which 3D images or objects have the edges of each surface are represented by lines, as if the model were fashioned using strands of wire. Also spelled wire frame modeling.
